Lincoln Square

Lincoln Square’s German heritage is strong as you’ll find in many of its restaurants and small businesses. Though this neighborhood can feel very old world, it boasts some exceptional restaurants and boutiques that will please young to old. The square acts as an anchor for the community with year round events and programs with the Old Town School of Folk Music being a neighborhood staple, offering cultural experiences that anyone can appreciate. There are blocks and blocks of residential streets with charming homes and an almost suburban feel. Lincoln Square is a bit further from downtown but has several Brown line stops for an easy commute into the loop, while the Damen and Western Avenue buses can take you north and south.
